The Goucher College’s Student Government Association has announced the results for the Spring 2026 election on Friday, April 10th. With 283 votes (67%), current sophomore Max Ravnitzky will be the student body president for the 2026-2027 school year, along with fellow sophomore Azeezah Azeez as vice president. Freshmen Evangeline Graham and Kalia Kiyoi received 138 votes, or 33%. With a staggering 421 total votes, this election season has had the highest number of voters since the campus shut down for COVID-19, showing an improving trend of student body participation.

Sara is the Chief of Design, reporter, and copy editor for the Q. Originally from Frederick, Maryland, Sara is a double major in Media Studies and Integrative Arts Studies, with a concentration/minor in Creative Writing and Theater. She also works as a Peer Tutor with the Writing Center, and focuses on reporting on accessibility concerns and arts and entertainment within Goucher College.

Katherine (Kate) Wisneskey is the 2026-27 Editor-in-Chief of the Q with a French Major, Biology Minor, and Pre-Med concentration. Kate is from New Orleans, but currently living in New Mexico with her two dogs, Dottie and Maggie. When she's not developing the Q website or organizing meetings, she's probably working. She is a Student Instructor for French, a Goucher Guide and an Arsht Presidential Diplomat.
